Newton Booth Tarkington (29 Temmuz 1869 – 19 Mayıs 1946) Amerikalı oyun ve roman yazarı. En çok bilinen eserleri The Magnificent Ambersons (Muhteşem Ambersonlar) ve Alice Adams adlı romanlarıdır. Kurgu dalında Pulitzer Ödülünü birden fazla kazanan üç yazardan birisidir.
